The Karl Loy Bandweberei GmbH company was established in 1914 by Karl Loy and his son, also called Karl, and since then has been producing ribbons for student associations. Medal ribbons and carriers, decoration ribbons, horse ribbons and other products for tournaments and clubs were later added to the product range.
In 1970, Goldina Loy GmbH & Co KG was set up to produce gift ribbons and since then this company has been one of the mainstays of the group. Today both companies are managed in the fourth generation by Bernhard and Till Hackenberg.

The companies Karl Loy Bandweberei GmbH and Goldina Loy GmbH & Co KG have around 17,000sq m of production space at their disposal. Producing in-house, we can react quickly and flexibly to meet individual customer requirements. To do so, we have our own

Products where labour is a high percentage of the costs are manufactured by Duka Loy s.r.o. (Czech Republic), one of the companies in the group.

A fully-automated high bay warehouse with around 2,500 pallet storage locations was commissioned in 1996 for smooth distribution and to improve logistics. It guarantees customers speedy and punctual delivery.
